Spiandagan sneachd | Snowflakes floating in the wind

An ongoing series lamenting the changing environment of the Cairngorms National Park in the Scottish Highlands, where snowfall has decreased dramatically in the last 35 years. The images are imbued with a painterly, almost dream-like quality & as such they are also a paean to nostalgia & memory, inviting the viewer to explore their own relationship with grief, loss & hope. The title is a local gaelic term & roughly translates as 'a few flakes of snow floating in the wind'.
